My story - Why I Chose natural Healing
A personal experience brought me to Natural Healing.
When my daughter, Michelle, developed bronchitis at 18 months of age, it broke my heart to see her feverish, coughing, wheezing, and unable to breathe or sleep.
After seven days on antibiotics, she was bordering on pneumonia. Because the medication was not bringing her any relief, we took her for acupressure and Chinese herbal therapy.
After her treatment, she slept peacefully for seventeen hours. The following day, Michelle awoke with a clear chest, no cough, and plenty of energy. She showed no signs of having been sick.
Because I was so impressed with her recovery—and never wanted to feel that helpless again—I went back to school.
I was in the third graduating class of the New England School of Acupuncture, the first state-licensed acupuncture school in the United States. There, I had the privilege of studying under the school's founder, Dr. James Tin Yau So, often referred to as "The Father of American Acupuncture."
After meeting many people who were fearful of needles, I began specializing in Natural Healing techniques that do not require needles. Since 1990, these gentle methods have enabled me to help many people who otherwise would never have considered this type of care.
One of the greatest highlights of my career came in 2002 when I was honored to serve as the commencement speaker for the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin. During the ceremony, I had the privilege of presenting my daughter, Michelle, with her diploma in Oriental Medicine.
I became an acupuncturist and chose Natural Healing because of a personal health crisis in my own family. I understand your concerns because they have also been mine.
Since 1979, I have helped my family stay healthy and assisted countless others in supporting their health and improving their quality of life through gentle Natural Healing.
